Math 101
In schools, pupils are grouped based on their academic abilities. Some pupils are visual learners while others learn through kinetestic or oral activities. Some pupils are fast learners and have home support from parents. Pupils who posed the greatest challenge are pupils who has no support from home and weak in their basic foundation.

Mr Men as teachers
We know teachers are funny and strange people. What will they look like if depict as those 'Mr Men' characters?
Teaching Writing thru Cartooning
Teaching pupils to write can be difficult. I use cartooning as a platform to launch their ideas from visuals and them let them organise these pictures into writing. Below are some of the examples.

Urban Legend
How many times have you heard pupils telling you there were strange noises or shadows at the toilet that they had been to. Or have you experienced it yourself? Whether it's true or just our imagination playing tricks on us, it never fail to create some excitement in the classroom. |

Who's got the school bag?
This conversation was overheard during one of my morning gate duty. A mother and son had reached the front gate when the son asked her to hand the school bag over. The mom looked surprised and told him, "I thought you were carrying it all along!".......duh..... |
Another heavy bag
Kids nowadays got it easy. Majority of them has domestic maids tagging along them, carrying their heavy schoolbag. I always wonder if these kids grow up, will they be responsible adults or will they be so used to be being taken care of that they could not manage to do things by themselves. |
School closes exactly at 1pm on Saturday
Locked In (Sharon Mccone Mysteries)
This image comes to mind especially after the hoo-haa of a certain school teacher who sued the school that she was in because she was locked-in on a Saturday afternoon. |

My ex-pupils
One thing I find strange and amusing in becoming a teacher is when you bumped into your ex-pupils after so many years and you go ......' now which year did I teach this pupil?'.... |

Excuse me, are you a teacher?
Take this survey. If all your answers are a ‘Yes’,
You Might Be a Teacher.
You want to slap the next person who says, "Must be nice to work from 7 to 3 and rest during the June and December school holidays!"
When out in public you feel the urge to talk to rude children and correct their behavior.
You refer to your own children as "pupils."
Meeting a child's parents instantly answers the question, "Why is this child like this?"
You believe "extremely annoying" should have its own box on the report book.
You know hundred good reasons for being late.
You don't want children of your own because there isn't a name you can hear that wouldn't elevate your blood pressure.
All journey begins with the first step.
Well, how many of you had school refusal and find it really difficult to drag yourself out of bed and face the world. |
